Celebrating Women…for the Real World is a weblog that introduces a fun perspective for women who are mothers, wives, friends and employees. Sheri and SuZan have been friends for approximately ten years with very different households. Sheri is a mother of three children from a previous marriage, ages 17, 15, and 12. She has been married to James (JK on the Run) for six years and has 3 step daughters. Sheri is currently employed as an office manager/bookkeeper for a law firm; member of the High School’s Booster Club and has been past PTO President of the area Elementary School. SuZan has been married for 19 years and has one 17 year old son (she swears he counts for 3). She is a therapist in the local school district; also a member of the High School’s Booster Club and is Advancement Chairman in a local Boy Scout Troop. They are both passionate about their lives and aim to bring different perspectives on various subjects and how life impacts everything we do.

Tuesday, December 13, 2005 You Know That Your Day is Screwed When.......

Your boss comes in to your office and tells you that his bank has rejected his paycheck and that you need to fix it! No other information....just fix it!

It's all good. We came to the conclusion that it was his bank's error, not ours. The electronic numbers on the bottom of the check couldn't be read by the bank's system, therefor, instead of pushing it through manually, they rejected it!

Now that my heart has started beating again...........
