I was surfing and ran across another site called Sleeping Mommy. She has a wonderful write up for July 4th that you should really take the time out to read. Here is a little taste of her writing to wet your whistle:
"Today isn't about fireworks and cook outs and basking in the sun. There is a lot more to this date in history, ladies and gentlemen.Please take a few minutes to acknowledge what the forefathers of the great nation of the United States did and sacrificed to give us what we so proudly hold dear today.
