All of us who blog around here are familiar with Cat. Her blog started out as A mom in the Swamp, but since Katrina and relocation, she is now Cat's Life Out of the Swamp. This month we agreed hands down that Cat's should be our blog pick. Cat is 37 and is married to her childhood sweetheart (18 years) and they have three boys. Her other babies are two golden retriever girls and a newly adopted cat.
We remember after Katrina, checking her blog frequently to get any sort of information. When she could, she posted the experience all around her (scared us half to death). Her sister Heather was also wonderful posting updates and keeping us informed on how Cat and her family were doing and on how we could help.
What we love about Cat is her perseverance and her attitude at life. She states "Despite all the Storms we have weathered! "KATRINA" kiss my ass!" We all could only hope that we would have her outlook, strength and courage to start over after facing what she has.
