Monday's-Ugh!
What a difference between last Monday (a holiday) and this Monday - NOT a holiday. I had last Monday off, and, if you read earlier posts, you'll see that I did absolutely NOTHING! Today, since I had to work I, walked the dogs from 5:30 a.m. - 6:00; showered and dressed, started the roast for dinner, filled my car with gas, worked from 8:00-5:00; stopped at the gym from 5:30-6:15; came home and added the finishing touches to dinner (yes, opening a can a sweet potatoes and cooking frozen spinach does count); sorted the laundry, washed two loads, dried one; and cleaned the two bathrooms upstairs, one of which is the one my boys share (and just how they can be so disgusting in beyond me!). Needless to say, I am now ready for the decontamination unit (better known as the bathtub). I'm sure I'm not alone in my hectic day, so, why as women do we feel guilty when we do nothing! Shame on us!
