Celebrating Women...for the Real World
Wednesday, July 20, 2005 Mother-In-Law Knows Best

Cooking and cleaning can wait till tomorrow,
for babies grow up we’ve learned to our sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs,
dust go to sleep,
I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep."

During our last pod cast, I made reference to this poem but couldn’t remember the whole thing being my baby is now 16. Back then, I had gone back to school; had a full time job; was a Cub Scout leader; and totally frazzled. When I was at my wits end trying to balance everything my mother-in-law put things in perspective for me and gave me this poem.
