It's Friday!!
TGIF in the biggest way!
Here's a little thought for the day. One day I was sitting in an employee meeting and some of the employees were complaining about stuff-not anything specific-just stuff. One employee said something to the affect of "I think I'm going to check other pastures to see if the grass is any greener." One of the managers responded, "Well, the grass might be a little greener here if you watered it more and cut down on the fertilizer!"
I thought that response was a classic. If you think about it, it holds a lot of truth. Sitting and complaining about what you don't have while watching your neighbor work toward reaching their goal (green grass) gets you no where. You have to get up and DO something about the situation! Sometimes going in a different direction (job change, living situation, a move to a different city) is the answer. On other occasions, sitting back and assessing what we already have and making a few minor changes to make the most of what we already have is the answer.
