Yep, you guessed it Carrie joined us. Of course Mercedes LOVED her because she came bearing gifts (I’ll come back to this part). As usual, Sheri’s margaritas were STRONG, but not as bad as the last time. The food and the company were great as always, I had to introduce Carrie to Lewi and can you believe she actually touched him (yuck!), and even Sheri got brave and touched him, as for myself...NOT A CHANCE! (note to self...keep camara in hand so as not to have to touch the lizard).
Carrie came bearing gifts; she hit the nail on the head and appealed to our pyro side with some wonderful Yankee tea lights. But the most popular gift was the treats she brought to Mercedes. The package said "Temptations", but Carrie kept on calling it “kitty crack” (and she was right).
Mercedes loved the “kitty crack” so much that after everyone went home, she knocked them off of the table and dragged them beneath the coffee table. She then fell asleep on them until I went to bed…THANKS CARRIE!
My cat is now addicted!
