My Son is Passing!
WARNING......SHAMELESS MOMMY MOMENT AHEAD!!
I guess you can tell what this post is about based on the title. Yes, the same son that had to go to summer school has finally decided that he really is smart and can pass when he puts forth some effort. My son is a Junior in High School. He does not have any disability that could impede his learning. In fact, he was on honor roll through out his entire elementary school years. Sometime during his sixth grade year, aliens (read-HORMONES) invaded his body and girls took a front seat to, well, everything. Nothing else mattered. Yes, I nagged, grounded, and threatened. I did everything any other mother would do. I was beside myself. How was my son going to get accepted into college? It certainly wouldn't be based on grades. We have now completed the first three weeks of school and I'm happy to say, MY SON IS PASSING EVERYTHING! He actually has more A's than B's. We have even had a few days where we carried on actual conversations! I'm so proud of him! Way to go son!
My son plays football for the High School. When did he grow up?
